Little River Flower Farm Community Supported Agriculture Shares:
The Freshest Vegetables Possible

Little River Flower Farm is offering Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares in our farm  for the 2012 growing season. A CSA share gives you the freshest vegetables possible and unites us, the grower, with you, the consumer. The program also gives you the chance for a close-up view of a working Maine farm while allowing us to better plan for the growing season with the necessary up-front investment to purchase the seeds and other supplies.

Our list of vegetables include lettuce, mesculin, swiss chard, spinach, kale, boc choy, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, radishes, peppers, string beans, dry beans, carrots, summer and winter squashes, beets, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, peas, potatoes, basil, parsley, cilantro, dill, leeks, scallions, garlic and more.

Little River Flower Farm CSA Share Programs – General Information:

  • A half share feeds two people while a full share feeds four people (two adults and two children).
  • The optional delivery fee is $175. Group deliveries can share the cost. We help organize group deliveries and drop off locations.
  • Shares are offered on a first-come basis and are reserved for you when we receive a 50% deposit. The remainder is due by May 15.
  • Weekly emails are included to let you know what vegetables you will be receiving, what's happening at the farm and occasionally a recipe we created and like to share.
  • See individual plans for starting dates. Finish dates are in October.
