Little River Flower Farm Community Supported Agriculture Shares:
The Freshest Vegetables Possible
Little River Flower Farm is offering Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares in our farm for the late 2014 Winter growing season. A CSA share gives you direct to the farm produce. The program also gives you the chance for a close-up view of a working Maine farm while allowing us to better plan for the growing season with the necessary up-front investment to purchase the seeds and other supplies.
CSA Share Programs Sizes
- Single Share feeds one person.
- Half Share feeds two people
- Full Share feeds four people (two adults and two children or three adults).
Single $400 / Half Share $550 Full $700
Shares are offered on a first-come basis and are reserved for you when we receive a 50% deposit. The remainder is due by September 30th.
Emails are sent to let you know what vegetables you will be receiving, what's happening at the farm and occasionally a recipe we created and like to share.
Winter Storage Crops include: Beets, Potatoes, Carrots, Onions, Squash, Cabbage, Brussel Sprouts, Kohlrabi, New England Pie Pumpkins and more.
Fresh Produce from our year-round greenhouses includes assorted Herbs, Boc Choi, Kale, Mustard Greens, Collards, Arugula, Loose Lettuce Mixes, Spinach, Scallions, Head Lettuce and more.
Pantry items are Pesto, Honey, Frozen Blueberries, Fresh Applesauce, Sun-dried tomatoes, Dry Beans and more.
